How to join...

Send an email to 1001books-subscribe@yahoogroups.com . You will receive a confirmation notice to which you simply reply back.

VERY IMPORTANT: Read the "Welcome" message and change your subscription to digest so you won't be swamped with emails.
Simply send an email to 1001books-digest@yahoogroups.com.

How to quit...

Send an email to 1001books-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com. Make sure you use the same email address you subscribed with.

Alternatively, you may go to http://yahoogroups.com and get a user name/password (if you don't already have one), then click on the link for "My Groups" and unsubscribe from there.

How to change subscription...

Send an email to the appropriate address you want to change to: 1001books-digest@yahoogroups.com (for digest version); 1001books-subscribe@yahoogroups.com for individual messages (dozens a day!) or 1001books-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com to remove yourself from the list altogether.

If you wish to go "no-mail" but remain on the list so you can send messages or to stop mail while you are away, you need to go to http://yahoogroups.com and sign on or sign up if you do not have a username and password; then click the link for "My Groups" and make the change you want.

How to post...

If you have not done so already, please read the Membership Guidelines at least once before posting. The guidelines are reasonable and purposeful. This is not an "anything goes" type forum. Stay focused on the intent of the list. Once you have subscribed and you understand the guidelines, all you need to do is send your emails to 1001books@yahoogroups.com or use the "Post" link you see when browsing the ads online.

How long to posts stay online?

A minimum of 2 calendar months (60 days). After that, it is advisable to re-submit them in order to show up quickly via the search engine. Old ads seldom get responses.

How to delete a post...

At present, due to limitations of Yahoogroups, this can only be done by the group owner and moderators. Please be careful what you post so it does not need removal. If do-able, just send a revised post with the correction in reference to the original post. Otherwise you can and send a payment of $2.50 via www.paypal.com to with your request, stating the posting number and copy of the text ad you wish to have deleted.

How to respond to a post...

	If you receive digests via email, click on the person's email address or "reply" for individual emails, and send a response. Make sure the original post is included to facilitate communications.
	If you subscribe to individual emails, you will reply to the sender when you click your reply button in your email program.
	For those who view the ads via the website, just click the link at the top of the post "Reply". The email is set to go to the sender by default but you can change it to go to the list owner or the group if you choose either of those instead. You are advised to send all replies regarding sales to the sender, not the owner or the group. Note: the email addresses on the website appear incomplete. Don't worry; they are coded to prevent "email address harvesting." They will get delivered to the correct address and the recipient will have full access to your email address (not coded).

Either email or go to the contact page regarding the website. Include links to any pages or members you refer to.
Note: On the contact page, these symbols are disabled "//" due to spam problems, so just put in the page address part after "http://."
